Teaching: 2025-26

Berkeley Undergraduates:  Welcome to a new academic year at Cal.  I will be teaching the History of Early Modern Political Thought (POL SCI 112B) in the Fall 2025 and my Jurisprudence course (POL SCI 117L) in Spring 2026.  Jurisprudence will also be offered as an online course in Summer Session in 2026.

For students enrolled in 112B:  bCourses, syllabus, course materials will be up soon.  There will be a course reader, and I will have Copy Central prepare them for you.

Graduate Students:  I'm supposed to teach a graduate seminar in Spring 2026.  I will announce that shortly.  The theme will likely cover theoretical literature on Sovereignty and Sacrality.  I'll also be a guest for Jonathan Sheehan's fall seminar in History.

Have a great year.
