Reciprocating favors
Larry David is probably the most effective communicator today expressing to a modern popular audience the content of what was once called 'natural law' - or as he sometimes calls them in his comic routines, 'the unwritten rules of society.' As 'natural law' now becomes increasingly weaponized by religious fanatics, I feel his comedy can be a much-needed corrective and useful pedagogical tool to explain the original basic moral logic and purpose of the jus naturale, which really has nothing to do with the divine, and everything to do with res humana.
